Atlanta Ballet present this times fairytale for children
Choreographed by Bruce Wells, this incarnation of Snow White is especially crafted to introduce younger audiences to the art of ballet. With music by Jules Massenet, this ultimate fairytale takes us on Snow White's journey as she is cast out by her wicked and vain stepmother, on the advice of the enchanted mirror. When her stepmother's plans go awry, Snow seeks solace with seven forest dwelling dwarfs, but will that be enough to save her life?
Written by the Brother's Grimm in 1812, Snow White has continued to capture our imagination for two centuries. The story bears the distinction of being Walt Disney's first full length color animation and has spawned countless adaptations. What better way to show your little ones the magic of the ballet than with this timeless tale?
