Watch your backs, One Direction!
This super-popular boy band six-piece hailing from South Korea have taken the metrosexual, "pretty-boy" image of Asian boy bands and smashed it to pieces since their inception in 2011. Otherwise known as Best Always Perfect, these boys take most of their influence from African American rap, which has raised eyebrows on both sides of the Pacific, with uber-fast rapping, bad boy antics and of course, a following that could rival that of One Direction. Yes, we just said it.
Their first studio album Warrior was released in 2012, and sold a phenomenal 10,000 copies in just two days, signalling that Korean youth were more than ready to embrace a new type of modern Korean pop. Taking their influence from the likes of Kanye, will.i.am and Jay Park, they have since ditched their trademark matching platinum-blonde gimmicky hairstyles, and have embraced a combination of grit and upbeat pop sounds, seen most recently with their newest mini-album, Carnival. The Live On Earth Tour hits 22 countries, and will be landing at the
