Opera and darkness at the Overlook Hotel!

You might have seen it in many different mediums, be it comic, movie, or book. But what you might not have seen before is The Shining in Opera! The production was composed by Pulitzer Prize winner Paul Moravec and will be directed by the esteemed Brian Staufenbiel. Taking the helm as the conductor is Timothy Myers, who you may know from his podcast Listening on Purpose. Get your tickets before it's too late.

What's it about?

In September 1975, Jack Torrance and his family take on the winter caretaker position for the Overlook Hotel deep in the Colorado Rockies. The family is warned about the ominous happenings in the hotel, but fails to heed these cautions, something they'll live (or not!) to regret.
