I don't know if it was the venue or the band but
both modest mouse and the opening band
sounded absolutely awful. Painful electric hum
drowned out all the music and you couldn't
understand any vocals over the feedback from
the system. really disappointed. My date was
having a good time so I ignored it, but I'd have
left a couple songs in otherwise.
Sad to say this was the worst concert I've ever
seen.

DISAPPOINTING
The sound was awful, and the band looked like they really didn't want to be there. I was
disappointed.

OMG... SO BAD!
I have been a huge fan since the early 2000's... Got tickets the minute they were on
sale, got third row seats and could not wait to see them! I was bringing my Son, My
daughter and son in law were all going! It was going to be an awesome experience!
Not to be!
The audio was not understandable, The sound distorted, the song selection was
terrible! They had to take a break to try and fix things and that did not work, They
came back out... finished a couple songs, then left, they made it seem like an encore
was coming, but they just didn't bother to come out again. Just collected the Concert
Money and left! I even noticed small things that were bothering... Not tuning a guitar
until before a song... He is up there and taking time between songs to tune while
everyone waits... The flow and show all sucked... I had waited 20 years to see them
and wish I never went!

BAD, BAD, BAD SHOW
Warning: Don't waste your money! I love MM, but the Albany, NY show was horrible. From the other reviews, it sounds like it's the same at every venue. Couldn't make out a word they said, but generally, there was no audience involvement at all. They just stood there and played their songs, some of which I could barely recognize. About 3/4 through, they left the stage so the techs could fix an audio problem. 20 minutes later, they came back, played a few more songs and then just quit. No real encore, unless that was it, and no buildup to a grand finish like good performers do. Also, how do they not even play Float On, their biggest hit? I still love their studio produced output, but this is one band that should never be seen live.

PAINFUL ENDING
So, all the bad reviews before this are
correct. Was the worst sounding
show I have ever been to. The one
point I will add is that they waited
forever for the encore. After sitting
through horrible accustics, and then
to make us wait?! If you don’t want to
play more because people aren’t
cheering enough and are leaving...
just turn on the lights and let us go
home. After waiting forever, we just
ended up leaving... not sure if they
ever played the anchor... don’t care.

SO DISAPPOINTED
I’ve been a modest mouse fan for
almost 15 years and I was so pumped
to go see them. That said, the concert
was awful. The techs knew something
wasn’t right: they set up for almost 45
minutes after the openers. The audio
was atrocious. We could understand
NOTHING. I thought I had just
messed up hearing, but everyone
around me was in agreement. Not
sure if it was their own techs our
Foelinger’s, but it was TERRIBLE
audio. And they played for like an
hour. Disappointing. I went home
and turned on my iPhone playlist and
rocked out instead. Still love them.
Just with less money, now.
We went to Steve Miller last year and
sounded great, which made me think
it was not Foelinger’s fault. I’d still
recommend a concert there. SUCH a
cool venue.

TERRIBLE SOUND
Even counting my days as a raver going to parties in abandoned buildings in the 1990s,
this was the worst sound I have ever experienced in any venue irrespective of size or
scope.
Tickets cost $75-$100 for two hours of sonic mud.
Complete waste of time, money and effort for all involved.
