Atlanta Symphony Orchestra performs Ludwig Goransson's groundbreaking score for the 2018 modern classic Black Panther live! A movie which arguably changed the face of AAA cinema going forward, its themes of racial identity brought the world of high-action, global hit superhero movies into new territory, firmly establishing it as one of the most important movies of its generation.

For the Oscar-winning score Goransson's extensively studied the music of Senegal and South Africa, travelling with famed Senegalese musician Baaba Maal to help educate himself on the long standing tradition of storytelling in many African musical styles. His finished soundtrack tastefully incorporated these into an epic movie score featuring orchestral arrangements and modern production, with contributors to the extended soundtrack including Kendrick Lamar and SZA.
