Banjo virtuoso Bela Fleck joins with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra for a special performance of George Gershwin's classic Rhapsody In Blue, reimagining the work in the way only he can. Conducted by Jeff Tyzik, Fleck's virtuosity on the banjo shines through in the piece, serving as proof of the versatility on the instrument. It's no wonder that his recording of the work - titled Rhapsody in Blue(Grass) - was nominated for a Grammy at the 2025 awards.
Bela Fleck is considered one of the greatest musicians in modern American folk and revival music, with his stunning proficiency with the banjo earning him seventeen Grammy wins and countless more nominations, as well as induction into the International Bluegrass Hall Of Fame in 2020.
