Eclectic Variety

Atlanta Ballet brings to the stage an eclectic program featuring a variety of works new, recent and classic, putting the artform's ability to run the gamut of emotions on show for all to see. The program features the work of Darian Kane, Claudia Schreier, Justin Peck and Shannon Alvis, with their distinct choreographic styles coming together to form a delectable evening of dance.

Featured is Darian Kane's magnificent Dr. Rainbow's Infinity Mirror, taking inspiration from the works of Tim Burton, Quentin Tarantino, Wes Anderson and Danny Elfman. Claudia Schreier's Fauna, set to the music of Debussy, Creston and Weir, takes a nostalgic tone, while Justin Peck's Under The Folding Sky pairs the music of Philip Glass to choreography inspired by the "Twilight Epiphany Skyspace" by light artist James Turrell, while Shannon Alvis brings a work celebrating the dance community in Atlanta. An excellent program not to miss.
