Stars And Stripes and More

In the 250th year since the founding of the United States of America, Atlanta Ballet celebrates with a performance of George Balanchine's Stars and Stripes! The famed choreographer's 1958 tribute to John Philip Sousa's spirited marches is the ultimate celebration of American pride, set to beautifully triumphant music. 

The magnificent work headlines a program which also features a world premiere in the form of Melissa Hough's Plagued Houses, taking its inspiration from Romeo Juliet to the music of Tchaikovsky. Opening the program will be a welcome return to Atlanta for Remi Wortmeyer's Significant Others, to the music of Fanny Mendelssohn.
