Atlanta Ballet Brings Classic Sleeping Beauty Back To Georgia Next February

The world renowned Atlanta Ballet presents a new staging of Tchaikovsky's epic masterpiece, coming to the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Center next February! What is The Story?

The King and Queen think their happiness could not be dimmed as they welcome their first daughter, Aurora, with a grand ceremony. But not everyone is thrilled - the wicked fairy Carabosse, furious at not being invited, lays a curse on young Aurora: at her sixteenth birthday, she will prick her finger on a spinning wheel, and die. The good Lilac Fairy intervenes to alter the enchantment, instead laying Aurora to sleep until she receives a handsome prince's kiss. Can love battle its way through the curse, and save Aurora?
