Atlanta Opera: The Marriage of Figaro

Why see Atlanta Opera: The Marriage of Figaro?

FIGARO IS GETTING MARRIED

Known as Mozart's funniest opera, The Marriage of Figaro reunites us with Count and Countess Almivira, whose respective servants are to be married. Only Count Almaviva is bored with his new wife, whose story is encountered in the Barber of Seville, and decides to try his luck with Figaro's betrothed. A madcap adventure soon follows as the servants must find some way to outwit their masters!

In this Atlanta Opera production, directed by emerging talent Stephen Lawless, the wine flows and the cast are alive with energy as they navigate this work of comic genius. With Brandon Cedel as Fiagaro and Luke Sutliff as the Count, there is a bubbling amount of talent to present this saucy, silly, and cherished tale finely and unforgettably!
