FIGARO IS GETTING MARRIED
Known as Mozart's funniest opera, The Marriage of Figaro reunites us with Count and Countess Almivira, who's respective servants are be married. Only Count Almivra is bored with his new wife, who's story is encountered in the Barber of Seville, and decides to try his luck with Figaro's betrothed. A mad-cap adventure soon follows as the the servants must find some way to outwit their masters!
In this Atlanta Opera production, directed by emerging talent Stephen Lawless, the wine flows and the cast are alive with energy as they navigate this work of comic genius. With Craig Colclough as Fiagaro and John Moore as the Count, there is a bubbling amount of talent to present this saucy, silly and cherished tale in a fine and unforgettable manner!
