I Got Chills, They're Multiplying...

In 1978, the ultimate tale of high school romance first charmed audiences with its swinging rock and roll score and budding young talent. Filled to the brim with instantly classic song and dance numbers, from titular theme song Greased Lightnin' to You're The One That I Want, the coming of age cult hit celebrates its 40th anniversary this year, so why not break out the brylcreem and shimmy on down to Atlanta's Fox Theater for a celebratory live screening and singalong!?

Olivia Newton John and John Travolta portray the saintly new girl Sandy and leather-jacket toting bad boy Danny, who fall in love over a steamy summer vacation. When it turns out the pair are both enrolled at Rydell High, a school filled with vibrant characters like Rizzo, Kenickie and Frenchy, their obvious differences make it difficult to rekindle their short-lived fling, what with Danny being the leader of greaser group the T-Birds, where his important reputation as a ladies man comes into question...
