Hollywood star Vivica A. Fox reprises her role in the stage adaptation of the classic romcom
Romantic comedy film Two Can Play At That Game broke new ground upon its release in 2001, paving the way for a new generation of African American performers. Now award-winning Hollywood actress Vivica A. Fox is set to reprise her role as a strong, independent relationship guru for Je'Caryous Johnson's theatre adaptation, headed out on a mammoth 23 date national tour this Fall!
Hailed as the second highest grossing playwright in the world, Johnson has worked tirelessly throughout the course of his 20 year career, working with the likes of Billy Dee Williams and Richard Roundtree. The multi-talented producer and director explores matters of the heart, relationships and family dynamics in his emotionally-driven plays.
Fox perfectly embodies the sassy can-do attitude of lead character Shante Smith. An old hand at navigating the messy waters of relationships, her friends turn to her as a font of dating advice. But her world is turned upside down when her man Keith, played by Scandal's Columbus Short, threatens to stray with her archnemesis Conny. Thinking she knows all about the tricks men play, Smith embarks on a 10 day plan to get Keith back in line. But Kieth's about to show her that two can in fact play at that game...
